Our national team members in trampoline gymnastics and tumbling have completed their performances within the framework of the World Games in Wroclaw, Poland.
Though, it was the first time our gymnasts joined the competitions of this kind, their performances turned out to be successful. Namely our Synchro Pair consisting of Veronika Zemlianaia and Sviatlana Makshtarova won the silver medal, thus, scoring it to the national team’s account. Our girls, reaching the final from the 5th place in the qualification, managed to demonstrate more sophisticated performance and to mount the 2nd step of the podium with 46.250 points, despite of the strong rivalry.
It should be mentioned that Sviatlana, who was particularly excited to appear in front of the audience on her birthday, also made herself the most valuable present.
Mikhail Malkin, making another debut in the event, was our only representative in tumbling. The gymnast succeeded to reach the final and took the 5th place receiving 67.200 points.
